The place where, between 1858 and 1861, the votive crowns and crosses offered by several Visigothic kings came to light, hidden in two boxes beside the tomb of a priest named Crispin. It has been excavated since, and is identified with the monastery of Santa María de Sorbaces. The site can be visited, but the jewels are not here: they are divided between the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, the Royal Armoury and the Galería de las Colecciones Reales, in Madrid, and the Musée de Cluny in Paris.
