San Miguel de los Fresnos

A hermitage in open country some six kilometres northeast of Fregenal de la Sierra, whose oldest elements are attributed to the 7th century. In a district where very little of these centuries survives, it relieves that scarcity alongside the churches of Ibahernando, El Gatillo and Santa Lucía del Trampal.
