The aqueduct that brought water to Sexi under the High Empire, and the best preserved Roman aqueduct in Andalusia. Several stretches remain: one in the hamlet of Torrecuevas, another inside the town of Almuñécar and two more between them, among the custard apples, avocados and mangoes of the valley. It has been a monument since 1931.
