The temple Hadrian dedicated to his uncle Trajan, born in the city, at the centre of the Nova Urbs. It was octastyle and peripteral, on a podium 29 by 47 metres, in a colonnaded square 86 by 56 metres flanked by a hundred columns of Euboean marble and by exedrae holding statues. Of the whole hectare, what can be seen today is the plan and the podium.
