A colonnaded commercial street that joined the forum to the harbour, with its baths and its buildings. The layout is of the 1st century, but what can be seen today belongs to a great remodelling of the 4th, after Diocletian named Carthago Nova capital of Carthaginensis. The bath building was in use until the 4th century and was taken up again in the 5th with stone from other buildings of Augustus's time.
