The lighthouse raised at the end of the 1st century and the start of the 2nd on a hill at A Coruña, and known until the 20th century as the Faro de Brigantia, in Latin Farum Brigantium. It is the only Roman lighthouse in the world and the oldest still working. It is climbed from inside, and from the top you see the Atlantic it lights.
