The port at the far northwest, in Gallaecia, whose lighthouse carried the name Farum Brigantium until the 20th century. The tower went up at the end of the 1st century and the start of the 2nd on a hill commanding the approach, and it is the only Roman lighthouse and the oldest still working in the world.
