A Phoenician cemetery of the 7th century BCE on the right bank of the river Algarrobo, among the most important in the western Mediterranean: the layers in its chamber tombs show how Phoenician burial passed from cremation to inhumation. The gold medallion from tomb IV and the rest of its grave goods are shown in the Museo de Málaga.
