What remains
Site or museum

The colony's cemetery, one of the largest in the Phoenician and Punic west, dug since the 19th century by Luis Siret. Its tombs and its coins are the proof that Phoenician and Punic burial ways held on here into the 2nd century BCE, long after the town had passed to Rome. The Siret collection is in the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, and other material from Baria in the Museo de Almería.
