Standing

A Naṣrid watchtower that Castile rebuilt in the 16th century: it was raised about 2 metres, given a sloping reinforcement at its base because it was so slender, and its chamber and terrace were remade, with a machicolation over the door. It overlooks the Velilla coast and the Guadalfeo plain, and stands today in the gardens of the Hotel Salobreña.
