A tapering 16th-century watchtower, also called the Torre de Calaturcos, above a cliff east of Maro beach, in the Maro-Cerro Gordo Cliffs natural park. It is about 11 metres high, with its chamber above a solid base, and keeps the machicolation over its entrance in very good condition.
