A horseshoe tower of the second half of the 18th century on Macenas beach, for two 24-pounder guns: the powder store below, the kitchen and living room above, and the guns on the roof, with a high door reached by a rope ladder. By 1830 it had no guns and was kept by a corporal and three keepers. Well preserved, its exterior is open to walk around.
