A bastioned fort of brick, rubble and ashlar around a courtyard, with two rectangular towers to the north, two semicircular ones to the south and a battery facing the sea. It was built in 1767, when Carlos III fortified the coast of the Kingdom of Granada, and today it houses the Manilva municipal archaeology museum, over a Roman site.
