What remains
Standing

A tapering coastal watchtower about 12 metres high, still at its full height, on a hill by the mouth of the river Verde, now surrounded by housing estates. It dates from the first half of the 16th century and keeps its raised brick-arched entrance, its stone machicolation and the parapet of its terrace.
