The mosque of the old Arrabal de Francos quarter, built on earlier foundations; some sources date it to the late 9th century and others to the mid 11th. It stayed in Muslim use long after the conquest of 1085, until sometime between 1498 and 1505. It now houses the regional crafts centre of Castilla-La Mancha and can be visited.
