A defensive tower the Naṣrids raised around 1300, one of the chain of towers along the coast of the kingdom of Granada, which gave Torremolinos its name; it already bears it in the Ordinances of 1497. It is built of adobe, 12 metres tall with two floors, windows to the sea and a terrace; inside it is almost ruined.
