Three mortar towers on the Mauror hill facing the Alhambra, with a gate between two of them, a bastion towards the Albaicín and a cistern beneath: what remains of the Ḥiṣn Mawrūr on the eastern wall of the city. Built as early as the 9th century, it was enclosed by the Almoravid enlargement and reworked under the Naṣrids and in the 16th and 20th centuries. It is managed by the Alhambra trust.
