A Naṣrid castle on a hill by the Turón river, raised against the Castilian castle of Teba and part of a line with those of La Peña, El Burgo and Bobastro; it had an alcázar, more than ten towers and a barbican. Castile took it in 1433. Parts of the walls and towers remain.
