A stretch of the Islamic wall that closed Almería to the south, from the caliphal period in the mid 10th century, with the remains of a gate between two square towers. Found in 1984 beside the Parque Nicolás Salmerón, together with a Roman fish-salting works, it has been shown since 2006 in a museum space of the Junta de Andalucía.
