The city Leovigild founded in 578, excavated since 1945 and still under study. A visitor walks the wall, the monumental gate, the main street with its two commercial buildings, the houses around their courtyards and, above, the palace complex with its church. There is an interpretation centre; the objects found are in the Museo Arqueológico Nacional and the Museo de Guadalajara.
