Necrópolis de la dehesa de la Luz
Today: Arroyo de la Luz, Spain
- Years
- 409–711
A cemetery of anthropomorphic graves cut into the granite of the dehesa de la Luz, north of the town and some five hundred metres from the hermitage. The burials, the pottery and the coins date it between the 4th and the 7th century: it began in late Roman times and was mainly Visigothic. One of the two main groups holds eight graves laid east to west.
