A town of the plain northwest of Antequera, on the land of the Castillón farmstead, whose full name, Magnum Municipium Flavium Singilense Barbitanum, says it was a municipium of Latin right under the Flavians. Its remains have been known since the 16th century. Its walls, forum and baths are spread today over the hill, with the plain of the Guadalhorce in front.
