The main temple of Roman Corduba, found in 1951 during work on the town hall. It was begun under Claudius and finished some forty years later under Domitian, who brought it water from the Aqua Nova Domitiana Augusta; it was pseudoperipteral, hexastyle and Corinthian, 32 by 16 metres. Félix Hernández re-erected ten columns of the pronaos, and the site opened to the public in June 2025.
