An Arab castle on a crag 623 metres up, at the top of Olvera, with a keep, a wall-walk and two cisterns. Its date is disputed: the article places it at the end of the 12th century and also in the defences of the Naṣrid kingdom, which is later, and the fabric seen today shows Christian features from the works after the conquest.
