A twelve-sided Almohad albarrana tower, built in 1220 and 1221 on the Guadalquivir to control the river approach to Seville. Only the lowest stage is Almohad: the second dates from the reign of Pedro I and the top from 1760. It has housed a maritime museum since 1944.
