Standing

The minaret of the Almohad great mosque of Seville, ordered by the caliph Abu Yaqub Yusuf in 1184. The lower part of the tower, brick with sebka panels, is the Almohad work; the belfry and the Giraldillo weathervane were added in the 16th century, when it was already the cathedral bell tower.
