An Arab castle of the 9th to 11th centuries on the Cerro de la Sabina, some 4,000 square metres, supplied by a channel fed from an aqueduct. A refuge of the Moriscos, it was destroyed in 1569 after the battle of the Peñón de Frigiliana. The foundations, a wall and part of the entrance ramp remain.
