A cylindrical Naṣrid coastal watchtower, about 10.5 metres tall, overlooking the Almuñécar coast and the Guadalfeo plain. In the 16th century it was raised about 2 metres, given a sloping base and rebuilt inside. It stands in the gardens of the Hotel Salobreña.
