Remains of the walls of medieval Algeciras, excavated in 1997 and laid out as an archaeological park of some 6000 m². They were attributed to the Marinids of the late 13th century; epigraphic work published in 2012 points to earlier Islamic building of uncertain date, heavily rebuilt before 1342.
